This 7-mile section of the North Shore state trail travels through the Finland State Forest and is open to ATVs. The section connects the Moose Walk trail at Hockamin Hill next to Hockamin Creek and travels Northeast crossing the Baptism River and connects to the Moose Run Trail and ends at the Claire Nelson Rec. Hall in Finland. The trail crosses rock outcrops, streams, and rivers as it travels the North Shore Highlands near Finland. The Moose Run Trail connects to the community of Finland and the Forest recreation campgrounds in Finland. This trail is provided and maintained by Minnesota DNR Parks & Trails.
