OHV Trail Detail

FireFrost Trail

FireFrost Trail

This 25-mile trail system is on a reclaimed railroad bed and has flat, straight stretches with some bumps and whoops along the way. The trail is mainly gravel and sand, with two grassy stretches of track. This trail parallels the highway that runs north and south, and is set back from the highway approximately 50 – 200 feet. Some wooden railroad bridges are bypassed, and there is one short section that uses a MNDOT highway right-of-way for a river crossing. Farm crops are directly adjacent to this trail in areas, providing a landscape view of corn and sugarbeets.
