Martineau Recreational Trails
Found in the Paul Bunyan State Forest in northern Minnesota, these trails are made up of multiple loops, providing miles of single-track OHM trails including tight, wooded technical trails for more experienced riders and miles of smooth trails for beginners. Plan at least a day to ride and explore. The trails are provided by Hubbard County and maintained by Paul Bunyan Forest Riders Motorcycle Club.
From Akeley, take Hwy. 64 north 5.6 miles. Then turn left on Blue Trail/Steamboat Trail.
- Hubbard County
The Martineau OHM trail will have two closures for forest management activities. The first will be east of the Pine View trail/ south of the Steamboat Forest Road. The second will be between Highway 64 and Spur 2 and south of the Spur 2 cutoff. These segments will have alternatives to get around the harvest areas.
