Thistledew Trails

The Thistledew Trails are a 25-mile system consisting of a north and south loop located within George Washington State Forest. The trail passes through rolling hills of mature pine and aspen forest. Both loops are managed for ATV and horseback riding, so please watch for other riders.

From Nashwauk, go north on Hwy. 65 for 32 miles, then left on Hwy. 1 for 3.6 miles. Continue north on Co. Rd. 452 to parking.

OPEN - Due to a timber sale there is logging activity in the area. Please watch for reroutes signs, equipment, and workers. The reroute is down a narrow ATV only trail so please use caution. As always ride with caution.
