Moose Run Trail

Located north of Finland, the 12-mile Moose Run Trail takes riders through the Sawtooth Mountains along Minnesota's scenic North Shore. The Moose Run Trail is a family-friendly route. The trail winds over hills and through deep woods, brushing along the North Shore State Trail before merging with the Moose Walk Trail. Trail is provided by Lake County and maintained by Finland Snowmobile/ATV Club.

When open
The Moose Run Trail is open except for a section of the Moose Run Trail from Hwy 1 to the Moose Walk Trail is still closed due to wet conditions and trees down. The Moose Walk Trail is closed from the Old Trail Shelter on the outer loop of the trail to Hwy 1, including the middle loop of the trail, due to wet conditions and trees down on the trail. Other sections of the Moose Run Trail and Moose Walk Trail are all open.
