News release: Minnesota DNR webinar series offers new sessions this spring

March 19, 2026

Webinars on the 75th anniversary of wildlife management areas in Minnesota, turkeys, and native fish, are part of the spring lineup for the Minnesota Outdoor Skills and Stewardship Series from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

“We are approaching that wonderful time of year when our natural world is waking up and seeming to come alive again after winter,” said Benji Kohn, DNR volunteer mentor program coordinator. “Spring is a favorite time of year for many Minnesotans, and our webinars aim to share tips for people interested in getting out and enjoying the outdoors.”

The DNR hosts these live webinars every other Wednesday at noon. Upcoming topics include:

Join Greg Henderson, wildlife specialist and avid hunter, as he talks about turkey populations across the state, different hunting opportunities and some tips for bagging a gobbler.
