OHV Trail Detail
Nemadji State Forest OHV Trails

Riders can explore the trails that climb through Nemadji State Forest. The southern trails wind across gently rolling upland, moving to steep stream valleys in the northeast. Tight, wooded, technical OHM single-track trails challenge even the most experienced riders. Trail connections to the Matthew Lourey State Trail and the Gandy Dancer Trail offer additional riding opportunities. The Nemadji State Forest is classified as LIMITED.
These trails are provided by Pine County and maintained by the Straight Arrow Enduro Riders Motorcycle Club, the South Metro ATV Club and the DNR Parks and Trails office in Moose Lake.
Winter use:
Roads and trails are open to OHVs. Groomed trails are limited to ATVs and are shared by snowmobilers. Wheeled vehicles are only allowed on trails when snow depth and temperatures allow – check those conditions here. The Erickson Road lot is plowed and the Gafvert Campground has emergency information. OHM trails are closed November 1 to April 30. Closures may be extended because of soil conditions.
