Burning Restrictions begin July 12 in Cook, Lake and northern St. Louis counties

Burning restrictions will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 12, in Cook, Lake, and northern St. Louis counties in northeast Minnesota. Campfires are not allowed in backcountry, dispersed, or remote campsites. Fireworks are restricted outside of city limits. No burning permits will be issued or activated. Please review all burning restriction information before any outdoor activity.
