Highway 67 collapsed in 2019 and is permanently closed in both directions. There is an unavoidable 16 to 20 mile detour between Yellow Medicine Campground on the east side of the park, and the park office, main entrance and horse campground on the west side. Do not trust your GPS, Google Maps or other map apps - follow the detour!
