Cenaiko Lake

Location:

This lake is located within Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park. 

Species Present:

Rainbow Trout: average abundance, average size.
Hybrid Sunfish: average abundance, average size.
Smallmouth Bass: average abundance, smaller than average size.

Boat Access:

There is no boat access on this lake. A fishing pier is available for use. For more information, contact Anoka County Parks at (763) 757-3920. 

Shore Fishing:

The entire shoreline is suitable for fishing. The county also operates two fishing piers on this lake. 

Management Plans:  

  1. Stock 2,000 Rainbow Trout yearlings each spring and 3,000 Rainbow Trout yearlings each fall.
  2. Stock surplus adult Brook Trout or Rainbow Trout when available. 

Aquatic Invasive Species Alert:

This lake contains Eurasian watermilfoil. Remove any visible plants from your boat, trailer or other boating equipment before leaving the lake. 

Comments:

Cenaiko is a designated trout lake. Fishing is allowed only during the trout season, in addition to other restrictions. Refer to the Minnesota Fishing Regulations booklet for the additional restrictions.

This lake is within Coon Rapids Regional Park. A fee is charged to enter the park. Smallmouth Bass, Hybrid Sunfish and other fish present were introduced by anglers illegally. Do not put fish caught in the adjacent Mississippi River into the lake as any additional fish stocked may reduce the success of trout stocking.
