Metro Transit: Route 14 serves Bloomington Avenue within a block west of the lake. Route 22 serves 28th Avenue within a block east of the lake. Connect to either route from METRO Blue Line light rail. Plan a trip from your location using Metro Transit.

Comments: This is one of the better crappie lakes in the Twin Cities. In the spring, fish the north shore. Because it gets more sun and warms up quickly, the water here attracts fish. From the fishing pier, cast a small minnow hooked 2 feet below a bobber.
