Comments: Because Beason Lake is located in the Minnesota Valley Recreation Area, it provides a well-rounded experience for families that like to get outdoors.  This lake receives floodwaters from the Minnesota River; therefore many other species including Northern Pike and Common Carp can be caught.  A daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter the park.
