Ingredients

  • 1 lb crappie fillets
  • 2 tbsp mayonaise
  • 2-3 tbs Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ¼ cup bell pepper
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil
  • Hot sauce (optional)

  • Combine all the ingredients, making sure to break up any fish chunks until everything sticks together.
  • Shape into patties with hands or small stainless steel cake rings.
  • Boil or fry in oil for 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve with hot sauce if desired.
