2026 Grant Programs
The DNR Invasive Species Unit is offering the following grants in 2026. If other AIS grant programs become available in 2026 they will be listed here.
- Invasive Aquatic Plant Management Grants: This grant program will begin accepting applications at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2025. Applications received before this time will not be accepted. The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2025. All completed applications submitted within the one-month application period will be considered for funding. Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $49,999. Grants will support the control of Eurasian watermilfoil, curly-leaf pondweed, flowering rush and starry stonewort.
