Snow Depth and Groomed Trail Conditions

Afton State Park

Trail conditions:

Due to warm temperatures and rapidly deteriorating trail conditions, the ski trails are now closed. Thank you everyone for a great ski season! Skiers may continue to use the trails as conditions allow and a ski pass is not required; but the trails will not be re-groomed even with additional snowfall. All trails were groomed on Monday, March 1st. Significant melting has decreased our base coverage, but the latest snowfall (1.5-2") allowed us to reset all of the ski tracks. Please use caution if overnight temperatures drop below freezing and create icy conditions. We will continue to groom as snow conditions allow; but unfortunately the end of the ski season is quickly approaching. 2 pairs of fresh tracks are set on all designated ski trails (1 pair of tracks on multi-use trails). We do not offer any trails for skijoring or skate skiing.
