Trails vary from flat, wooded, open prairie to steep ravines.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.
Facilities:
- Warming house and picnic shelter are open to use.
- Buy your Ski Pass online, or from the park office when it is open.
- Snowshoe rentals available at park office.
- Four drive-in electric sites and three drive-in non-electric sites are available for winter camping. Contact the park for more details.

From Lake City follow TH 61/63 northwest 5 miles to Frontenac, turn right on County 2 and proceed north one mile to park entrance. Trail head at park office.
Parking is located at the trailhead.
