Trail conditions:
Groomed Week of 3/30. Gandy is groomed from Moose Junction to Danbury. East Arm to the Mallard Lake Forest Road to the bridge on the the Tamarack River in the campground is groomed. Groomed from the campground going west on the Tamarack Forest Road to the MLT. Groomed from 48 on the MLT to the shelter going North. GIA snowmobile trails connected to the state trails CLOSE midnight March 31st.

The trail is generally rolling terrain through a varying age of hardwood, aspen and pine forest. A wide variety of wildlife can be seen through out the trail.

From Hinckley, head east on Highway 48 twenty-three miles to county road 173. Take county road 173 north two miles to the first parking lot. A second parking lot can be found further north on county road 173, three miles past the first lot.
Two parking areas are available on county road 173. The first lot is two miles north of the Highway 48 and county road 173 junction, the second lot is three miles north of the first lot.
