St Croix State Park
Snowmobile Trails are open and in good condition. we have 12 to 14 inches of snow in the woods. The trail base varies from 3 to 5 inches. Last week roads were plowed for the muzzleloaderspecial hunt in the park. Those are the trails that only have a 3 inch base. Due to the ground not being froze some areas are rough and rutted from the tractor tires. Please drive with caution. The Kettle River Crossing is unknown at this time.

The trails are mostly level, mixed with woodlands, marshes and rivers. A wide variety of wildlife may be seen.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.
- A warming house is available in the park.
- Ski passes are sold in the park.
- Snowshoe rental is available at park office during normal business hours.
