Brown's Creek State Trail

Trail conditions:

Trail depth on trail is 1" or less. With the thaw/refreeze cycle, portions of the trail are slippery. The gorge is icy.

The trail(s):
The trail is a dual treadway rail trail that cuts through a rural cross section of lakes, woods, wetlands and fields. The trail is mainly flat and easy skiing. We will not be providing grooming or packing on Brown's Creek State Trail. However the trail will remain open for public use. You can find groomed ski trails at William O'Brien and Afton State Parks.

Getting there

Access is available in downtown Stillwater at the intersection of Laurel St. E. and Main Street.The trail can also be accessed from the Gateway State Trail, at Duluth Junction, in the City of Grant.

Parking is available at Brown's Creek Preserve (8364 Neal Ave N) or in downtown Stillwater. (Laurel St E)
