Early antlerless, youth deer seasons arrive
As you head into the field for the early antlerless or youth firearms deer season, prioritize your safety by always handling firearms safely, wearing blaze clothing, and focusing on each step into and out of the tree stand. And remember, there is no change to the state’s shotgun zone this year.
Grants for Urban and Community Forestry
The DNR is accepting applications for $12 million in grants to help communities plant, protect, and care for trees across the state. These Community Tree Planting and ReLeaf grants will support local efforts to address the impacts of emerald ash borer and grow healthier, more diverse community forests.
