George Washington State Forest - Bear Lake Trail
The northern section of the Bear Lake trail as well as the Little Bear trail was last groomed on 2/18/2020. The southwest section of the Bear Lake trail has not been groomed at this time. With the spring melt in full swing there are sections that are down to bare dirt and icy patches. There is also a section that has been plowed to bare dirt for a logging operation. Watch for them using and crossing the trails, ride with caution, and stay to the right.
