The trail(s):
The snowmobile trail is primarily north of Mound Creek in the park and connects road right of way trails on the east and west sides of the park. A short non outletted section allows users to come in at the main park entrance and travel to a warming shelter.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • A warming shelter is available with a wood burning stove.
  • Ski passes are not required.
  • The campgrounds are closed for the season.

Take I-90 to Luverne and head north on Highway 75. Take 75 six miles and follow signs to park entrance.

Parking is available at the trailhead.
