Douglas State Trail
Douglas and Tiger Bear 1 trails were groomed Monday 2/18/19. Trail base varies from 3-6 inches. All trails are in excellent condition. Another round of snow on 2/20 will only enhance the trails. Happy riding!!

The Douglas State Trail is a multiple use trail developed on an abandoned railroad grade. This trail crosses outstanding rural scenery, traversing some of the richest agricultural land in Minnesota. The trail begins in northwestern Rochester, travels through the small town of Douglas (for which the trail is named) and terminates in Pine Island.
- Log shelters are located along trail.

From US Highway 52, take the CSAH 22 (55th Street) exit; then west and south on CSAH approximately 2 miles to Olmstead County Road 4 (Valleyhigh Dr NW); then east .3 miles to the Rochester trailhead
Parking is available at the Rochester trailhead, as well as at Douglas and Pine Island.
