Trail Snow Report
Flandrau State Park
The ski trail was last groomed on Sunday 12/2 at noon. The cold temperatures have kept the trails in really nice shape. The only areas that are a little rough are entry points to the trails. They will not be re-groomed at this point in order to prevent damage to them from equipment weight. As of 1:00 PM staff were informed by skiers that areas with less base are showing through towards the grass. We will re-groom when we get another good snowfall. Trail Update 12/8/2018: While we are still in the process of getting approval of a trail reroute, we have been given permission to allow skiing on the non-groomed trail. The Cottonwood and Oxbow loop will not be groomed until we have formal approval to have the new route as a trail. The Oxbow trail bridge was removed due to safety concerns and in preparation of a new crossing next spring. We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter. Please do not go around snow fencing - it was installed to block off unsafe areas of the old trail segments. If there are issues on the open trails please notify staff so that we can remedy that issue.
