Gateway State Trail

Trail conditions:

The trail(s):
The trail is a dual treadway rail trail that cuts through a rural cross section of lakes, woods, wetlands and fields. The trail is mainly flat and easy skiing. The trail will be plowed from Cayuga Street to Jamaca Avenue when we receive measurable snow fall. We will not be grooming ski trails on the Gateway State Trail. However the trail will remain open for public use. You can find groomed ski trails at William O'Brien and Afton State Parks.
