Lake Bemidji State Park

Trail conditions:

With the warm temperatures we now have about 10" of snow on the ground. The Rocky Point Trail is mostly being impacted from the sun and is losing its base, otherwise all other trails are still holding up, although with debris. The ski trails north of County Rd 20 were last groomed on March 6. Snowmobile trails were last groomed on February 27th and are also holding up but with some bare spots.

The trail runs through mature pine forests. You may see a wide variety of wildlife through out the park. Includes all levels of difficulty, from flat to rolling topography and steep hills. Check the park's home page for a full list of winter programs and events!


  • A warming house is available in the park headquarters.
  • Ski passes are available for purchase at the park office, Monday-Sunday, 8:30-4:30.
  • Snowshoe and universal x-c ski rentals are available at the park office.
  • Camping is limited, but available, contact park for details. Four camper cabins are heated and open 7 days a week.
