Lake Bronson State Park
There are user-made tracks on the trails leading from the visitor center with skiers reporting fair-to-good conditions. Trails are currently not packed/tracked but hopefully grooming will resume later this winter. Trails are open for those who want to break trail or snowshoe. Snowshoes are available to rent for $6.00 p/day. Please call the park office at 218-754-2200 to arrange a time to get them. The heated restrooms at the visitor center are open daily and parking lots are typically plowed within a day.

The trail runs through prairie land as well as rolling hillsides. Deer, squirrels, and snowshoe hares are common wildlife to see along this trail. Snowshoeing is welcome, but please stay off of the groomed trails.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.
- A warming area with flush toilets is available at the Visitor Center.
- Winter camping is not available.
