Trail Snow Report

Lake Bronson State Park

Trail conditions:

A few skiers have been out with their old skis but hiking may still be the best option with just 4" of snow on the ground. Ski trails will be groomed again this winter by a volunteer once we get enough snow. The snowmobile trails technically opened on 12/1 but there is currently not enough snow for riding. There has been lots of ice fishing activity. Ice conditions are variable so always use caution when heading out on the lake.

You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • A warming area with flush toilets is available at the Visitor Center.
