You will encounter many lakes and ponds through rolling wooded terrain.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.
Facilities:
- A warming house is available in the park.
- Ski passes are available at the park office or by self-registration.
- Snowshoe rentals are available in the park for $6.00/day.
- Backpack camping and ski in camper cabins are available during the winter. Cabin reservations are required.

The park may be reached from the south via I-94 (exit 193) at Hwy 25, south to Chelsea Rd to Hwy 39 west and Wright County Rd 111, or from the north via I-94 (exit 183) to Hwy 8, County Rd 39 and County Rd 111. Take park road to one of two trailheads.
Parking is available at either trailhead.
