Maplewood State Park

Trail conditions:

The park has up to 24" inches of snow in the woods. The 1-mile Cataract Lake ski trail and longer 5 mile Grass Lake ski trail were last groomed on January 8, 2020. We received 4" of light snow on January 14 & 15, so there is that new snow on the packed ski trails. Ski trails have some drifting in open areas. Snowmobile trails are in good condition and were last groomed on January 7, 2020, some drifting has occurred in the open areas. Local lakes have areas of slush. Never assume any ice is safe without checking its condition.
