Great River Bluffs State Park
The park received about 12" of snow early this week making for ideal xc ski conditions. Trails have been groomed and are in great shape. If you want to snowshoe, conditions are good for that as well. You can snowshoe anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails.

The trail offers a variety of landscapes, scenic overlooks of the river valley and beautiful hardwood forests. The wildlife ranges from grouse, opossum, rabbits and owls.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.
- Daily Ski passes are sold at the park office or by self-registration after office hours.
- Snowshoes are available for rental at the park office.
- Winter camping not available this year...Sorry

From Winona, take Highway 61 south to I-90. Go west on I-90 to county road 12 north. From country road 12, follow county road 3 east to the park entrance.
