Trail Snow Report

Savanna Portage State Park

Trail conditions:

Good news! Ski trails were groomed and tracked Thursday 01/10 and are in good condition, but a little icy. L to M still closed but most everything else was groomed! The main snowmobile trail from south to north was groomed on 01/16, as well as, Continental Divide Loop, Wolf Lake trail and Cedar Bog loop. Snowmobile clubs are working clearing interior park trails around Lake 16 today(Wednesday), but may not finish. The trail over to Cromwell is open, but narrow so be careful there. Still use caution as there could be new trees down. We will update this as conditions change. On 01/11 we did pack some of Remote, and tracked the northern loop, but ran into some equipment issues, again. So, the trail from Loon Lake, the first ski loop to the north and the trail to the south are packed. The first loop is tracked. Will continue to update this as conditions change. Stay tuned!
