Savanna State Forest

Trail conditions:

About 8 inches of new snow fell on Friday night. Ski trails at Savanna Portage were groomed last week. Trails are in fair condition. There is a large logging operation on the north side of Remote, so we will only be grooming the very first loop off of county road 14. We groomed the first loop at Remote Solitude on Monday and the trail is in fair to good condition. Park roads are icy so please be careful when driving them. Snowmobile trails except Lake 16 south of the Savanna Portage State Park, were groomed on Tuesday and are in very good condition. We will update this as conditions change.
