Trail Snow Report

Savanna State Forest

Trail conditions:

We got an inch or two of new snow this week. With warm temps and icy conditions we will not be grooming ski trails this week and may be done for the season. We partially groomed Savanna Portage State Park ski trails today(Thursday), but with warm temps they are icy and in fair condition, though this little bit of snow will help. Snowmobile trails were groomed Tuesday, February 27th, but warm temps have left them in poor condition with many bare spots. PLEASE USE CAUTION when snowmobiling as with strong winds this week trees could be across the trail. Snowmobile trails will not be groomed this week due to lack of snow. I will update this as grooming occurs.
