Trail Snow Report

Scenic State Park

Trail conditions:

About 4" of snow have accumulated at Scenic, but no grooming has occurred and trails have not been used. Snow conditions remain unchanged from the prior report on 12/2. As soon as conditions allow, grooming of ski and snowmobile trails will occur under partnership with local clubs. For skiiing, MN Ski Pass and MN State Parks vehicle permit are required and can be purchased via self registration at the park office kiosk. Lakes at Scenic have iced over and some anglers have been out, but ice thickness always varies on Coon-Sandwick Lakes. Please use caution if skiing or fishing on ice. All trails at Scenic are open to snowshoeing and hiking, but please avoid walking on groomed tracks of ski trails.
