Trails will not be groomed but are open to skiing. With logging activity across the area watch for signs of closures. Watch for possible icy patches and patches of exposed soil and always ski with caution.

The trail winds through mature pine and aspen forest, younger pine stands and some recently reforested areas.
- One shelter can be found along the trail.
- Winter rustic camping is available through the forest.

From Togo, head three miles west on Highway 1, then two miles south on the Thistledew trail to the campground.
