Trail Snow Report
Putnam/Fishing Lakes - Bear Island State Forest
The Putnam/Fishing Lakes Snowmobile trails are open but very rough. They remain ungroomed due to lack of snow and the swamps not having enough ice. The wetlands areas are especially rough due to frozen ruts, hummocks, etc and not enough snow. The trail crew is packing the trails so the swamps/wetlands will freeze thick enough to support grooming equipment. Trail use is not recommended, please use extreme caution and travel at your own risk.
