Fire danger is increasing, and burning restrictions are now in place.
Campfires are not allowed in backcountry campsites, even if there is a fire ring. Camping stoves are permitted.
In campgrounds or picnic areas, attended campfires are still allowed in established fire rings.
Do not leave campfires unattended, and make sure your fire is completely out before you leave the area. Have a shovel and water nearby to extinguish campfires. Use the drown-stir-repeat method to extinguish your fire until it is cold to the touch.

Park your vehicle away from grass or vegetation, where hot exhaust systems could spark a wildfire.
