Cone and seed collection

DNR forester and landowner walking in landowner's woodlands

Do you have or know of a woodland or forest that produces large amounts of seeds or cones? You can sell viable tree seeds to the Minnesota State Forest Nursery.

Thank you for all of your efforts this year to help the Nursery with our seed and cone collection efforts. We are no longer accepting seed and cones for the 2019-2020 season. Check back for more information as we begin collection for the 2020-2021 season this fall.

Review the list and call area office drop off location before collecting.
