Leave the alcohol on shore
Minnesota’s lakes and rivers will be busy on the days surrounding the Fourth of July. From July 3-5, boaters can expect heightened law enforcement presence to keep impaired boaters off the water as part of Operation Dry Water, a national campaign to keep our waterways safe. Leaving alcohol on shore is one of the best ways boaters can ensure a safe holiday weekend.
3M PFAS settlement project awards announced
The DNR and MPCA have selected 26 proposals to receive a total of $20 million in awards for habitat restoration and outdoor recreation projects in the Twin Cities east metropolitan area and in downstream areas of the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers that have been affected by PFAS released by 3M.
