Stay safe on the water
Minnesota’s lakes and rivers are great places to boat, fish, swim, and simply enjoy a reprieve from the heat. Whichever way you’re enjoying the water, prioritize your safety by wearing a life jacket, leaving alcohol on shore, familiarizing yourself with the area, and letting someone know where you’re going and when you plan to return.

Use the options on our Buy a License page to purchase your fishing and hunting licenses online. Licenses also may be purchased in-person from approved vendors statewide. Phone sales are no longer available.
