Leave the alcohol on shore

Minnesota’s lakes and rivers are great places to boat, fish, swim, and simply enjoy a reprieve from the heat. Whichever way you’re enjoying the water, prioritize your safety by wearing a life jacket, leaving alcohol on shore, familiarizing yourself with the area, and letting someone know where you’re going and when you plan to return.

3M PFAS settlement project awards announced

The DNR and MPCA have selected 26 proposals to receive a total of $20 million in awards for habitat restoration and outdoor recreation projects in the Twin Cities east metropolitan area and in downstream areas of the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers that have been affected by PFAS released by 3M.
