Minnesota is updating its Climate Action Framework
The 2026 update will include a more comprehensive set of actions with a stronger focus on collaboration, community benefits, and workforce needs. Read a draft of the framework and share your perspective through a survey on its Engagement HQ page.
Grants for Urban and Community Forestry
The DNR is accepting applications for $12 million in grants to help communities plant, protect, and care for trees across the state. These Community Tree Planting and ReLeaf grants will support local efforts to address the impacts of emerald ash borer and grow healthier, more diverse community forests.
