Make safe hunting a priority
As hunting seasons kick off across Minnesota, hunters should prioritize their safety and that of those around them. Remember to always practice safe firearms handling while in the field. If you’re going to be hunting from an elevated stand, check your equipment to ensure it’s in good condition, climb in and out slowly, and always maintain three points of contact on the ladder or steps.
Field to Forest Cost Share
Planting seedings on historically forested open land? Apply for the Field to Forest Cost Share and receive up to 75% cost share reimbursement and a $500 per acre incentive payment. Funds are limited, so make sure to apply early.
